• No, but doing so will prevent the filter from needing excessively frequent cleaning.

• It is recommended to scrape the dishes into the trash but they do not need to be rinsed. See the dishwasher manual for more loading instructions.

• In accordance with the manual, the answer is no. After using the system a few times since installment, I can attest dishes and silverware are clean following its run. Thus far I’m happy with the results.

• Thank you for your interest in our dishwashers. You do not need to rinse your dishware before loading them into the unit, we do recommend scraping off any large food debris however.
