• Unfortunately, the alternate frameless model suggested by Bosch isn't available any more and there's no explanation as to why or when it might again be available.

• Hi OldFellow, thank you for your question and interest in Model:NIT8069SUC. The Stainless Steel Frame is not removable. This is also available in a frameless Model:NIT8069UC.
