Yes I have a friend that had one first and after 6 months noticed that his vegetables were lasting much longer plus they have a small piece you install inside to assist with this.

Oh my gosh Yes! I was throwing food away weekly with my previous refrigerator. So far, two months into it, I have not had to throw out any veggies or fruits and they stay fresh. I have been impressed! Worth every penny.
