• A:Answer Hi GAgirl! Great question. Our Bosch dishwashers, including the model SHX9PCM5N, feature a condensation drying process called PureDry™. This closed, energy-efficient system does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. During the final rinse, an extra hot wash heats dishes, while the coolness of the stainless-steel interior draws moisture away from the dishes onto the tub walls. This allows the remaining water droplets to drain away. Additionally, this model includes CrystalDry™, which converts moisture into heat up to 176°F, ensuring even plastics receive the ultimate dry. You can use CrystalDry™ along with your preferred wash cycle, excluding shorter cycles like Speed60® or Express.
