Will these work for drowning out airplane noise? I live right under a runway and sometimes I get awakened at night by loud airplane noise.... null

I would say yes to your question but I would like to inform you that Bose makes sleep buds! I would check them out if your looking for top Noise canceling tech for sleep. Don't get it twisted the 700 series are great headphones and have world class ANC but I wouldn't use them for sleeping!

Absolutely...used them on a noisy balcony and could hear absolutely nothing.

I would move. If you don't they will do the trick. Just don't walk around on the runway or you might get hit by a plane because you won't hear it with the noise being cancelled out.

Yes. When you have music playing you can’t hear anything you are in your own world. Car nose airplanes literally you hear nothing but music.
