Hi JohnnyB, and thanks for your interest in our Lifestyle 600! While you are not able to use a Bluetooth extender to connect to the Acoustimass Bass module, we can inform you that you can directly cable the Acoustimass to the control console which can help extend the range of setup! The operating range we recommend for wireless setup is 30 feet (9.1 m) from the soundbar or Lifestyle control console, but a cable could be helpful here.
We can confirm that the console itself does use the A2DP profile for connecting to external devices though.
