• The Sleepbuds are not for music or phone calls. Their only purpose is to help mask outside noise in hopes of providing a better sleep environment.

• No you can't . They were designed to deliver white noise only and that's it. You can not make phone calls or listen to music and this is all due to the very small design that Bose went with in order to provide comfort. They wanted to sacrifice multiple function capability in order to gain comfort which i think was a good move since these are designed as a sleep aid that you can sleep with and not a headphone set up.
