• Yes, they are loaded to to the buds but you do need the app

• No as I know of they only work with the app the buds has to be out of the box then turn the sounds on by phone

• Hi KJG2754, great question. You can use the Sleepbuds without being connected to your phone. These are Bluetooth buds and do not require Wifi access.
