• The volume control buttons on these headphones were designed specifically for Apple ios devices. There is an adapter designed for volume control on headphones for tv sound called "1/8" Stereo Female to Dual Male RCAs with Volume Attenuator".

• Yes it does, but I find it easier to adjust the volume on my device. I also adjust the volume for my special needs son and I like to see the level displayed.

• Just a heads up...these aren't the wireless version of Bose's headphones, so you'll need to plug them into your TV.
