YES ! I bought these specifically for the noise cancelation and at quarter volume you cannot here the people talking next too you. At half volume the whole world goes silent. If your looking for noise cancelation they are bar none the best. I love mine and I am so glad I chose Bose, amazing.

Absolutely, they cancel every bit of airplane noise so they will work outside in the wind just as well.

Yes they do cancel the wind. I drive a big tractor with the mower deck running and it cancels out the noise from that. They work great

Yes, they'll stop the wind noise you hear on the headphones. However, because the microphone is within the line that runs to your listening device, you won't hear the wind while talking on the phone, but your caller will hear the wind. .
