Can the battery in these be changed if it goes bad? null

No, the batteries are not user replaceable.

Battery cannot be replaced. Bose will ask for $279 for new pair of these... however, I do not know whether you have to send in your old pair... you probably do... now, battery... it will probably last you 500 cycles of charging... each charge gives you 20 hrs of listening... if you listen 5 hours each week, that is charging once per month... 500 charging cycles / one per each month... you do the math in years ;)
