When I was shopping for the 35 I was told it did not have the tap on and off feature to hear when someone is speaking to you or tap to switch to phone call. Is this correct? Does the 35ll do this? How well do they work with Iphone with google assist? null

Thank you for your question! The QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II feature the new 'Action Button'. This button can be programmed to control either noise-cancellation levels (High, Low, or Off), or to activate Google Assistant (requires the Google Assistant app for iOS devices). To better hear someone speaking nearby, you can simply toggle through the noise-cancellation levels by pressing the Action Button. We hope this helps! - Brian

The Quiet Comfort II does have a button to turn noise cancellation on and off. The Google Assist works great with an Android phone. I haven't had a chance to try it out with an iPhone.

You can choose to have the Google assistant button control noise canceling instead so you can switch it on and off when someone is talking.
