Hi Simon, Thanks for the questions. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every device out there. However, for the headphones to function correctly, the source device requires compatibility with A2DP, HFP, and BLE. The Bluetooth operation range is up to 30 feet from the source device. The range is not the greatest. I would be estimating if I told how far. I would strongly recommend this product to everyone. I've been using mine for over a year now and I absolutely love it.
