“As with all the Bluetooth Headphones, these can be connected with an Audio Cable to be used, when the battery runs out. I also did come across a few places, which say that the Microphone does not work, when I connect a wire to these. Is this the case here”

Hello Nikhil, thank you for asking about the QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II. These headphones are engineered with Bluetooth and noise-cancellation, and do come with a backup audio cable. Connecting the audio cable does disable Bluetooth, and since the mic works via Bluetooth, it will essentially disable the mic as well. We hope this helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is true, to use the microphone it has to be connected by Bluetooth only. I just tried. But Bose says the battery life is 20 hours using Bluetooth and 40 hours hardwired, that's a pretty decent battery life.
