We have a Sony smart tv and we can connect via bluetooth to the tv without it muting the tv/sound bar volume. That way the wearer can control their own volume. Handy for when those that may be a touch hard of hearing to still get the volume they need without blasting the rest of the room!

The other person can use the remote to control the tv volume so they don’t need headphones
