The QC25 did have specific versions for Apple and Android because the in-line microphone in the cable was designed for those particular devices. The QuietComfort 35 (and QC35 II) are engineered with a Bluetooth microphone, and for this reason, they have 1 version that works great with any smartphone. We hope this helps! Have a great day. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about the QC25(never used it), but QC 35 is good for any device which supports bluetooth. You have to install an app and it works fine. If you connect directly(without app) it gets connected to only one device and would not be recognized by other devices.
