I will officially test it out soon, but I have been immediately in front of an industrial fan which is normally pretty loud. I couldn’t hear a thing even without music. There’s 3 settings for noise cancellation: none, low, and high. People have been talking to me immediately next to me with a full voice and I could barely hear a thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have the headphones on with no music, the noise cancellation alone will not drown out all the noise of an airplane cabin. While playing music, it definitely will. I always take my Bose QC35 on my flights, they make the flights much more tolerable. Just crank the music up and you won’t hear a thing.

I also have the aviator bose model for my professional flying. This model comes very close to it in terms of noise cancellation.

While we can't guarantee that these will block out 100% of plane noise, we can confirm that these would block out a significant portion of audio, and these headphones are designed with a high-level of noise-cancelling in mind. We would advise keeping an eye on the return period for this product wherever you purchase this from, or to listen to these in a store first to ensure that you are happy with the quality of the product!
