No, they are not, even though the specs displayed on the website state it is water resistant, to me which means a little bit of sweat should not be an issue with this product. They are not even resistant to sweat from wearing glasses and headphones. Only wore the headphones once, and the leather reacted with my natural body moisture and eyeglasses and caused staining on the white leather, which I can not remove. Only worn one time, with my eyeglasses, it caused staining on the white leather. Bose needs to update the spec paperwork to reflect it is not water-resistant, even with a bit of sweat with eyeglasses and headphones. It's false advertising for its product.
