• iPod classic won't work. This unit has the new smaller connector that came out with the iPhone 5. The sound dock doesn't support blue tooth

• You will need an adapter. They work great, have 3 speakers using them in my house.

• Yes, you can either connect an external blutooth or you can buy a connector from lightning to 30 pins connector.

• You need a 5 point adapter or an ipod headphone cable

• Yes, your iPod should work with no problem. There is no Bluetooth capability unfortunately with this sound system.

• I think you need blue tooth. I do not see a port for the ipod
