• I don't think I would take it to the beach unless you plan to keep it up on a table. The structure has multiple places where sand could get through.This may impact the unit or life expectancy. There are water proof bluetooth that may be more appropriate/safe.

• We have taken this out on the beach, boat, woods pretty much anywhere you.cam think of and it still works great

• Many of our customers use this system outside and in varied environments. The Bose SoundLink Color is not specifically designed to be waterproof or used in wet conditions. If water enters into the speaker, there may be damage to the internal components.

• No. I would take it to the beach but I would probably put it in a thin plastic bag as to not get sand in it.

• Yes but be careful. It is not water proof.
