• The ear pieces lay flat when you turn them and they fit into the bag with the headband around the top near the zipper.

• 1) You must collapse the headband extension - if you expanded the headband to fit over a larger head then it won't fit back in the bag that way. 2) You must turn each earcup 90 degrees so it is facing down, rather than facing inward like it would be when you're wearing it. I faced difficulty myself fitting these back into the case when I first bought these. I was disappointed to find that the case wasn't larger: I ended up having to count how many "snaps" I had to extend the headband on each side to ensure I got the proper fit after taking the headphones out each time.
