• A:Answer I suspect that the car you speak of has a Bluetooth system that links to a source, such as a phone or tablet. The Bose Soundlink unit also links to a source, such as a phone or tablet. Most source devices, such as phones and tablets, only link to a single Bluetooth system, such as a car, headphones, and the Bose Soundlink unit. These devices do not connect to each other. To use the Bose Soundlink unit in your car, you would need to unpair your phone or tablet from the car Bluetooth, and then pair the phone or tablet to the Bose Soundlink.

Q: QuestionI want a device to place a CD in it and plug in my car. My new car does not have a CD player and I have some old cds that I want to listen to. Also something that won't skip when car hits a pothole. I was considering the Bose.

• A:Answer This speaker can handle almost anything you throw at it. I'd recommend to ease into whatever volume you are looking to reach and when you hear distortion, that is likely the limit.

• A:Answer If its not in a bag 10-15 feet maybe slightly more when my phone is in my backpack and the device around the bag strap the sound tends to cut out sometimes. This could very much simply be due to me being on an S7 that is not in the best condition. However when I was in the park i placed it on a bench and walk maybe 15-20 feet away and could hear the sound well with no disturbance. Could just be the Bluetooth signal was getting blocked by being in the bag. not sure but, maybe this info will help
