• Yes, once you are connected to your bose, you can control the volume with your phone. Great because when we are in bed we just control volume and shut music off without getting up.

• Like any other speaker it just amplifying sound so yes you can increase the sound level either through the phone or the speker.

• It can be adjusted on the unit as well as with the volume adjustment on your iPad. So I assume the same is true for your phone.
