• So far, I've used the speaker with an iPhone 6, iPhone 6+, iPhone 7, Samsung S5, Samsung S6 and a 7th Gen iPod. They all worked fine. It seems as long as the device has Bluetooth compatibility you can use it. Yes, it can be used in a car as long as it's charged. It's a wireless speaker so it doesn't need to be plugged in.

• For wireless use, this speaker would be used with a smartphone or tablet. However, any device with a headphone jack can be connected with a 3.5mm audio cable.
