How is the sound quailty outside at a cookout/party null

The sound quality is amazing. When I brought this to a friends cookout and started playing music, he looked around trying to figure out where the music was coming from assuming it was some big boombox.

It has really Great Sound! Even outside you'll never use all volume

Strong sound, I can hear it clearly over the sound of the hot tub pumps

It is good for a small cookout where everyone is within 50 feet apart. But it will not be for an entire back yard.

...the cookout/party conversation will drown out the Bose SL Mini II @ any distance not close to the speaker when played @ levels that are below the speakers bass & dynamic range distortion levels -

I think sound quality is great out on my patio. This rating is at about 30 feet from my wifi.

The sound quality is excellent.

Sound clarity is as good as the first model , with addition of deep bass

We use this speaker on our screened porch and it fills our whole backyard with sound. Our backyard is approximately .2 acres but is surrounded with trees that keep the sound in. Hope this helps.

About about 10ft the sound went down as well as the clarity. Others didn't experience this. I did. I was disappointed. I returned it due to the volume went down after approx. 10ft. This is not Bose quality, maybe I had a bad unit. I returned it within the return period, I didn't want to be stuck with a bad unit.

I find the sound quality and volume to be very impressive, no matter where you choose (inside or out) to locate the speaker.
