Sound comes out only from Front "Bose" side... Help! After getting this as a graduation present, I've had this for 7 months and I've noticed my speaker lost its loudness. It only plays sound from the side that says "Bose." Isn't music supposed to come out from both sides? What can I do to manually fix this? I wasn't given the receipt... how can I get this checked or fixed? Thank you!

The speakers are directional. They face the front only (the Bose side). Not sure why they sound more quiet though.

The sound is supposed to only come from the front side. The back side is for decoration.

I'm not a 100% sure but out of the 4 I had they seem to only play music from the Bose side

I have had my Bose for about 1 year and a half now. The sound only comes out from the side with Bose printed on it. The change in loudness may be attributed to a change in the surface you have it placed on. I have had the best results when placing mine on a hard flat surface with a wall about 3-4 inches away from it. This helps amplify the base. I belie the owners manual has the tips. Tips can be found on page 21 of the linked pdf document
