• Hello, Mike. The SoundSport Free wireless headphones are designed to be used as a single Bluetooth headset for phone call audio. During a phone call, the sound will be heard through only the right earbud. Also, the right earbud is required to be powered on and nearby if you wish to use just the left earbud for music audio. The Bluetooth signal is first processed to the right earbud from your device. It is then streamed to the left earbud. We hope this helps! Ashley - Bose Support

• You can only talk with the right earbud . Left earbud is only for movies music etc.

• no, at minimum you must have the right ear bud in. you can talk with only the right, but not with only the left
