No, I use theme every day in the gym for all kinds of workouts. Long as you use the right ear size form you should be pretty golden. They use the same style forms as all the Bose buds so they stay snug while keeping even pressure and not having any harsh pressure points in your ear. They do NOT block noise and seal up your ear either, so to me that's a great thing.
