Download the Bose+ app. I had some similar issues. Sometimes I have to go through the app to get them to pair. Not sure why.

They work in unison when listening to music or playing games, if you receive a phone call only the left side will function.

Put buds back in charger which turns them off then pull out and try again. Is the buds updated to most current updated?
