Bose has two models. One for Android and one for Apple. My brother bought the Apple ones for his Galaxy S8+ and the microphone buttons did not work. As long as you pay attention to the packaging and get the right ones they will work. I do not use windows phones so I could not tell you how the headphones work for them.

Essentially, Apple uses a different arrangement than most other companies. The Android version has the most industry-wide acceptance.
