I had a pair that did this turns out they were basically broken got an exchange with geeksquad have had that issue with my new pair.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think its an apple thing. my son has a similar issue with other headphones when using his iPhone 6s. It pauses when you touch the audio jack at the base of the phone. weird!
