For the vast majority of owners, the SoundSport wireless is delivering on its promise. But a small percentage of customers have experienced a problem. We took every headphone returned to us, went back to our labs, and got to the bottom of it. We found that SoundSport doesn't perform like it should under specific conditions related to more extreme levels of sweat and moisture. And we now have a solution to make it work just as well for those customers, too. Going forward, every SoundSport wireless headphone will include this update, and they'll be ready by the end of August.

Apparently, Bose has created a fix and now has quite a bit of backlog. They have been replacing user headphones (mine were just sent back for this) with the updated design.

I bought warranty on them and wanted to exchange at best buy but no stores have them yet. I am glad you guys are replacing all of them, I cant wait to exchange mine.

Please try again later.Probably because a small percentage ofr users are reporting these headsets are dying in certain heavy sweat use and Bose has acknowledged the issue and has promised a fix. I believe this was sometime in July and they stated the fix would take about six weeks. I'm a heavy exercise sweater and mine have held up fine thus far.
