Why does Bose claim that these earphones last eight hours of continuous play on a single charge when they only last six and a half hours? null

I was getting maybe about 4 or 5 hours on a full charge. It was bad.

I have found that mine will last eight hours, but there are two variables to this: 1) Make sure you get a full charge by charging overnight. 2) Phone calls, skipping songs a lot, turning the volume up and down a lot do affect how many hours you’ll get.
 If you want 8 full hours, it’s best to just listen to continual music, and turn them off immediately when you take them off.
 Trust me though, the other big name bluetooths don’t last as long as the Bose.

They don't last for 8 hours. But can be changed in less then an half hour.

Hi, that's a great question. To clarify, on the Soundsport wireless headset you would allow up to two hours to fully charge the battery. A full charge powers the headphones for up to six hours. Best regards, Tony_Bose Support
