• You can use them anywhere, you just have to register them with your wifi connection, wherever you are, or pair them to some device via bluetooth.

• yes , they can work totally independent (in different or same location as long as wifi network is available) . they can work together as well - even as stereo ( L+R ) pair ! . very flexible setup . highly recommended !
