“This speaker sounds like just what I need with the exception of it not being rated for outside. I want to permanently mount it under the eves on my house. Will this work or no? I don’t want a rechargeable unit. Looking for permanent placement w/WiFi/outsi”

Its a great sound,you could put on shelf and plug in ...i love the speaker

Please try again later.So when I said under my eves I actually want to permanently mount it under a 10x10 asphalt shingled gazebo up in the peak of the roof to project the sound directly down. Where I want to mount it there will be no chance of any weather touching it other than temperature change. No rain and no snow will ever get anywhere near the speaker.
