A:AnswerFirst off you will need to download the SoundTouch App. Next you can add the desired speakers in the desired locations throughout your home. With the SoundTouch App you can specify which speaker or group of speakers to play. I have stayed with the 20 speakers throughout my home. These speakers are not built for exterior use so you will need to research which Bose speakers are and if they can be used with the SoundTouch App. Otherwise I would just put them outside when actually using them.
It does take some effort connecting multiple speakers and then deciding how to group them but once it’s done the results are great.
A:AnswerYes, you simply need a 3.5 mm male to male audio cable easily buy at Walmart, Best Buy etc. Depending on the size of the room 20 or 30 is the right choice for a party I would estimate if the room is larger than 20 x 30 you go with the SoundTouch 30. A:AnswerYou can do it with this system but for multiple rooms you may want to look at the sound touch 10. You'll spend less per speaker and save enough to have one in the closet
