• Yes. The plug on that end is a proprietary cable though (it's slightly smaller than the standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the other end of the cable).

• Yes, The wire connects at both ends, on the left ear and also at the source. This came in handy the other day when I walked thru the kitchen and the wire got caught on the top of a dining table chair... and instead of my iPhone or headphones flying to the floor, the wire disconnected and all was saved.

• yes, from the left ear cup. Its special to the model, so you cant add another style of cable of your choosing.
