That is a great question and I do not have a definitive answer. I think it is unlikely only because I believe the XBOX uses a proprietary audio signal which might not be interpreted by the dongle. I know that is the case with other similar dongles. You can always connect your 700 to a controller via the aux cable. If you download either the Dolby Atmos or DTS unbound apps on XBOX (for a small fee) you will even get virtual surround sound through the controller connection.
