How are they powered null

Hi Buttons. Thanks for the question. The Virtually Invisible 791 In-Ceiling Speakers II are non-powered speakers. They will need to be connected to a receiver/amplifier that provides 10-100 W per channel, 4-8 ohms. Our SoundTouch SA-5 Amplifier is always an option! We hope this helps!
