Hi, that's a great question. the Wave Music System IV will work with the Echo dot only. It will work with an Aux cable. Other Echo devices don't have a 3.5mm audio connection. If you use a BlueTooth adapter you will need to make sure it doesn't auto-off after a certain amount of time. Have a great day!
