“What size battery is needed for the remote? Better yet why would I need to change the battery if I can charge the remote? Is the remote replaceable? I can’t get it to work for nothing!!! 😩”

I am so glad you posed this question… I went back to my box and inside was a charging cord… it only took an hour or so to charge the small remote with the cable that was included and then it immediately synced up with my phone and let me use the remote to take pics
