You do not remove these before installing the speaker. The pre-mount kits are intended for use before the dry wall is installed so that the speaker's position is reserved in advance of installation. If you have already installed the dry wall, you do not need these.

You do not remove these before installing the speaker. The pre-mount kits are intended for use before the dry wall is installed so that the speaker's position is reserved in advance of installation. If you have already installed the dry wall, you do not need these.
