Will this hold a fully opened Galaxy fold? Thats 4 3/4 inches wide and it weighs a little over 10 ounces. null

probably not. it's not super sturdy. When you make turns as you are driving usually the phone falls from the vent because the clamp does not hold well.

No, not if you have it in any type of case. The bottom and side brackets are not wide enough to accommodate. It may hold your Galaxy if you remove it from any type of protective case

I have an LG phone and it has an OTTER box that's about 3/4 inches thick. IT did not fit well. I had to take it off it's case for it to fit well and not fall off every time I took off from a red light.
