• Materials used to make the coffee maker and a couple additional button for the bells and whistles however they are nice additions.

• Germangal didn't look hard enough. There are differences. Like temp control and strength control.

• Bought black one first, upgraded to Stainless for 2 reasons. 1. Regular or Bold brew settings 2. High Med and Low setting for warmer plate Makes good coffee not disappointed.

• Absolutely nothing. My best guess is that the plastic is cheaper. I went on their website and they do everything the same. I did a side by side comparison on the website and it's identical minus the black.
