QuestionHow many pounds of veggies (greens only NO fruit) do you need to make an 8ounce glass of GREEN juice? Lots of juice shops claim there are 3-5lbs of greens in EACH 16ounce bottle. Trying to figure out if cost of veggies outweigh just buying juice...

- Answer This would be entirely dependent on the greens being used and the type of juicer. A centrifugal juicer, like the Breville® BJE830 Juice Fountain® Cold XL, will extract less juice from leafy greens than a masticating, or slow juicer like the BJS700 Big Squeeze™.
