“Are the knobs sturdy? Do they feel solid and made well? One of the biggest flaws I know of with most small electrical appliances seems to be cheap plastic knobs that crack and finding replacement parts is very difficult if not impossible.”

My BOV900BSS is working well. I feel it is well made. Have had mine since before just before Thanksgiving. My big oven had stopped working, the replacement part won't be available until after Thanksgiving. I cooked a turkey (11 lbs) in this oven. Even after the big oven is fixed, still using the BOV900BSS for smaller items. If you could visit your local BestBuy to get your hands on one to see for yourself

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using a lower model but it should be similar. The knobs are not notched to particular setting positions. Instead it has multiple internal indents that gets detected as you turn the knobs. It's digital knobs aka rotary encoders. Also the timer is not spring driven mechanical type, it is just a knob to set the digital timer.
