I am having the same issue, I have had this about 3 years, I also have the coffee maker that I bought around the same time that the heating surface is rusted on and a Breville impress express espresso machine that I have had for a year and 8 months that the steam doesn’t work on and hasn’t worked for the last year. When I contacted Breville for that issue they told me I needed to descale but that made no difference. I paid a lot for these appliances thinking Breville was a quality brand but am very disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am having the same issue. Did Breville help you in any meaningful way. I'm concerned about the peeling coating getting into my food. Every time I put food in the oven, I have to examine it when I take it out after toasting, etc., to make sure none of the coating has flaked off into the food. My Breville toaster oven is only a few years old and I expected much better quality for such an expensive appliance.
