There are pans that come with it, but I use other pans all the time. The only one I would consider "special" is the airfry basket, but you can use any pan you like under it to catch drippings. I actually ordered one of those copper air fry pans to use in this. It comes with a basket and drip pan. The pan I use now for drippings is actually the broil pan that came with the oven. No problems with using my other pans or anything flaking off. If it does, I'll just go get another. All pans wear out at some point, I guess. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know that you need special pans per se. The advantage these pans have is that they fit in the oven. But for instance, you could probably use your own ceramic or glass casseroles, you just have to use the racks that come with the oven, since (obviously) you wouldn't want to set anything directly on the bottom surface where the heating elements are. I used silicone muffin "tins" set on a small cookie sheet, and they worked just fine.
