A:AnswerAll of the functions on the Breville® BOV845 Smart Oven® Pro require a time setting which will shut the function off once complete. With no interaction with the oven for a minimum of 10 minutes, the oven will go into a stand-by mode. However, unless unplugged from the wall outlet, the oven will not completely shut off.
A:AnswerWe haven’t noticed that it gets hot underneath. Ours sits directly on the counter top and no problems. I’d be more attentive to the cabinets overhead as the heat rises.
Not sure what to say about your weight “question”. I’ve never weighed it. Are you saying you weighed it and got a different measurement than the data on the website?
A:AnswerYes - there is an internal light that turns on automatically the last 30 seconds of the cooking cycle. If you want to turn it on sooner, you push the little light bulb button on the right under the red start button. The light only stays on for 30 seconds at a time.
FYI - love this toaster oven. Bagels have never been better.
