The sone ratings are different on normal (low speed) or high speed depending on the duct orientation: Vertical with rectangular 3¼ x 10” duct = Normal Speed 1.0; High Speed 12.5 Horizontal with rectangular 3¼ x 10” duct = Normal Speed 1.0; High Speed 13.0
